When you use the Transformations card game on this site, all your work is done on your local machine. Data is only sent to our servers in certain circumstances, namely:
- when you first log in, the user and code that you enter are transmitted to the servers in order to authenticate your access to the system, and a record of the login attempt details (including a timestamp, and the user id which was entered) is recorded,
- your card choices, notes on why you chose each card, and answers to the reflection questions are sent to the servers when you generate the PDF summarising your input; the data you send is only stored in the form of your generated PDF, which is retained for 48h and then automatically deleted,
- your card choices only (excluding any notes you might add) are stored anonymously for research purposes if and only if you give permission for us to do so at the point at which you create your PDF at the end of the card game,
Other than at those specific points and for those purposes, none of the text that you enter is transmitted to our servers or stored, and nor is any of your behaviour tracked.
The only cookie that is set on your device is a token to hold your authentication details after you have logged in. This contains no personal information.
